Really enjoyed this corporate hotel: good food and very helpful staff. The location was fantastic, in old town and overlooking river. Moreover, it was very close to the shopping area of Dordrecht, the old city center and the canals. The room was neat and modern; the bed was lovely. Central heating, an individual safe, and flat-screen television were available in the room;))

clean - light airy room with a big - comfy bed and modern bathroom. Located right next to a beautiful cathedral and a short walk to the center of town with bars and restaurants. The owner - Aron - was an excellent host - making us breakfast every morning at our preferred time.
Couldn't recommend more.

We recently stayed at Heer&Meester for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of town with easy access to restaurants and attractions. The room was beautifully decorated with a personal touch, and the owner even prepared breakfast for us each morning. We also loved the unique "honesty bar" where we could help ourselves to beer and wine. a fantastic stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy interior of the hotel. The decoration had a classic touch with elegant furniture and beautiful artwork. It truly made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor, making it easy for me to navigate.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there. While they were polite and friendly, I think it would have been helpful if they were more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

The decor of the hotel was simply delightful, with charming touches that made me feel right at home. The common areas were spacious and accessible, making it easy for senior guests like myself to navigate. It was wonderful to see the children working there going out of their way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for seniors, it would be to have grab bars in the bathroom for added safety.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with a perfect blend of modern and vintage elements. The cozy sitting areas were adorned with beautiful antique furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the comfortable seating options throughout the hotel, allowing me to relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive to the needs of older guests. While they were friendly and helpful overall, it would have been nice to see them check on us more frequently and offer assistance without us having to ask.

I would have been thrilled if there were more organized activities catered specifically for senior guests.

I stayed in a charming B&B located right in the heart of the city, next to a 16th-century church and right by the canal. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view of the canal. the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, and the owner was friendly and accommodating. the location was perfect for exploring the city and its surroundings, with many attractions within walking distance.
I found the steep and winding staircase leading to the upstairs rooms a bit challenging, especially for older guests or those with balance issues.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
